About me:

Who am I?

I am just a late millennial/zillennial (whatever they are calling my age group these days) who is very nostalgic about many things. I started using the internet around 2005/2006 and instantly became fascinated by it. So, I created this site to relive the old times.

Other things about me

I love cats, drawing, and having peaceful time to myself. I love the color green, but indigo is my second favorite color. Hence, why I chose “Indigo” as my pseudonym. Another reason why Indigo resonates with me is because it’s a color that is neither “blue” or “purple” but something in between. Which is how I often feel about my gender identity as a queer person.

What I used before:

I started out by making my early sites using Freewebs (now Webs). It was one of those sites where they had premade templates to work on. So, I never learned proper HTML and CSS besides using small HTML snippets to add pizzazz to my webpage. For blogging and fandom stuff, I used LiveJournal.

What am I doing today:

I picked up drawing in my late teens and spent many years perfecting it. I have been using social media and Tumblr to promote my work with mixed results. I also decided to give coding a try last year and learned the basics. But I must admit I still suck at JavaScript.

My nostalgia for the old days brought me to Neocities to practice my coding by creating a place that I love. I hope it pays off and maybe I learn enough to apply to a well-paid job or become a freelancer.
